First of all, a new Spectrogram has been provided, with customizable display settings to help you find and edit the most problematic parts of the audio spectrum. WaveLab 9.5 picks up from where WaveLab 9 left off in several ways. If you wanted to use your favorite third party plug-ins on only the sum or difference channels, this was made possible by the previous iteration of WaveLab. Tool windows denoted metering displays, error correction functions, markers, and more, with full support for mid/side processing. The previous version of WaveLab came with a redesigned user interface, giving you a central tab area that incorporated commonly-used functions, as well as a waveform display. As such, the software provides tools aplenty for audio analysis, audio restoration, sonic shaping, and other processes integral to the practice of mastering. It’s designed to aid you in producing audio deliverables for the CD plant, for streaming, or for multi-channel platforms.
